homepage picture appears in all pages?

when i place a picture on front page in web template mode, why does the same picture appear in all other pages?

I've not got Magix web stuff but in other programs the 'template' or 'master page' etc contains what will by definition appear on every page. I'd assume your program will have a 'page' mode for editing the items on individual pages.
