I mentioned in a previous post that I currently use Movie Edit Pro 2018 Premium. I have only just realised that it’s meant to come free with an add-on or plug-in called HitFilm Movie Essentials. Does anyone know how I can activate this within the program?

I notice no-one has answered this one yet. I think it is because the answer could be tricky.
Third party effects are offered for short periods of time and the offers change. Sometimes as much as twice or three times a year so are not constant or continuous offers. Under the End Users License Agreement section 3.3 it states such activation must occur within a 90 day period. So I'm not sure if you still have entitlement to the plug-in or not.
If you have, then the third party effect should show under the effects tab as follows.
The activation code is then applied at the third parties website where you create an account and register the product. That should remove any watermark that may be applied within the effect when used with the editor.

Hi, I had a look in the box for the serial code but all I could find was a piece of card which has two serial codes on it. One code is for Magix Video deluxe Premium, and the other is for Magix Video deluxe Content Pack Premium 2018. Is the latter the one I need for HitFilm Movie Essentials?
