Hiding a numberplate of a motorcycle

Hi!

In my video there is a motorcycle staying on its side-stands (not moving).  Then the rider walk there, sit on the bike, and rides away.  The camera is recording on the tail of the bike, and it's easy to read the numberplate of the bike  there.  How can I make the numberplate black, white, gray, write over or mosaik it so it's not possible to read it?

Program I'm using is Magix Movie Edit Pro 2016, and the computer is running with Windows 8, the recorder has been GoPro Hero3 Silver Edition.

Here is a tutorial by John E. Baker that shows multiple moving masks; you only need one.

Once you have your mask and everything set up, then follow the instructions in the manual and on screen for tracking an object. Or, use size/position and keyframes to track the mask to the motorcycle.

Look up in the manual under Effects, Attach to picture position in the video.

Select the video and the mask and right-click on the mask, select "Attach to picture position in the video..." Follow the instructions. Modify the keyframes in the track curves if necessary. This can be quite labourious as keyframes are placed on every frame.

I gave up.

Have to find an editing program more suitable for my brains and language skills.  Can't understand instructions.  Anyway, thank you for trying to help.

Hi,

It's not that hard. You will have the same learning to do with every other program on the market. MEP is probably one of the easiest and most intuitive, but you have to learn how to do it.

The Attach picture feature is also probably the best or close to it, and quite easy to do. However, if you're not willing to invest some learning time, no video program will help you.
