I want to know how i can listen to the track while recording it at the same time with a guitar pod but i'm not sure how to record using the pod on the program.
Which POD do you have, how is it connected to the computer (USB or audio in), and which version and flavour of MMMM are you using ( year or version number and basic or Premium)? Did you install an Asio driver? If so, which one?
In MMM, normally you select a track, click on Record at the left so that it shows audio record, then play your guitar.
You may have to select the driver, input, and output under Program settings. With my mixer, I have it set up so that I monitor through the mixer using headphones.
I'm using a behringer vamp 3 and it has a usb connection for the computer. I'm using mmm 2014 non premium, I'm not sure what an asio driver is, and I plug my headphones in my v-amp and then plug the vamp into the computer i thoguht i'd be able to just hit the record button but it didn't work and I'm trying to find out how to listen to the track and record the guitars at the same time, I'm new to recording. thanks
In order to monitor the computer through the mixer and also to reduce latency, you will need an ASIO driver. If one did not come with your Behringer mixer (check the documentation - and read how to connect and use it with the computer), download and install ASIO4All from the internet. Then in MMM, press P to go to settings, select the Audio/Midi tab, click on Asio driver and select your driver or Asio4All. Change Audio playback to your mixer if possible. Click on Advanced to see what is there. Under MIDI, I also have my external mixer as the Output and Input device, although this should not be necessary.
