Please,may someone explain how to highlight the top line so I would be able to play video not from the beginning (see video attached) but from that point I would choose?

The movie clip does not work - it was probably in the wrong format for conversion - when uploading a video clip I have found that AVI, MPG or MOV formats are best.
In the programs setting ( Y key) Playback tab there is an option for the spacebar behaviour - check Spacebar stops at current position.
Then use the spacebar to start stop playback.

An alternative is to mark the range you want to play then use the Play range button on the preview monitor as shown in the image below
Once you have set a range you can drag the { } at the ends of the blue bar to increase / decrease the selected section.
