Help with Version 9

Hi. I’m trying to help a friend long distance. I don’t have the program but I can log into his PC. When he records audio from an LP and saves it as a wave file, it automatically adds 01 to the title of every song. I’m assuming it is a track number. In the dialogue box 01 is grayed out and you can’t remove it. He doesn’t want the 01 in the title and has to manually remove it after the file is saved. Is there a way to turn that off so 01 isn’t part of the title? I looked but didn’t see where to turn it off or remove it. Thanks.

Hi @david-h3982, Are you asking about the 'File' name or Regions and Markers on the timeline
Look in the "File> New" parameters for a possible setting prior to recording.
Look in the "Options> Preferences" menu for a setting. There was and is a naming option for 'Regions and Markers'
There were a few different versions of SF-9, A 'lite' version was included with some Sony turntables which had some unique settings as I recollect. I do have any version of SF-9 installed.
