Hi all, Just wanted some help with some really basic stuff. I feel like a lot of this stuff is obvious, but I've spent a couple hours on it and decided to ask for some assistance.

 1. How do I get the timebar to move along with the playback when I try to play my project? In all the tutorials that I've seen, whenever you press Play, there's a bar that moves in the window to show where in your project the playback is. However, when I press Play, there's no moving bar during playback and it's really hard to tell what part of your project is getting played.

2. How do I export as Mp3? I found the export options, but none of them seem to be working for me. I can open the dialog box where it gives me the options to export to Mp3, facebook, etc. but every time I click on an option nothing happens. 

3. How do I prevent my vst plugins from resetting every time I play my project? I'm able to select what tracks use which instrument plugins, but every time my track ends or I stop it, the instruments will all reset when I play it again. 

These are just some really simple things, and honestly I'm not sure if this is a ridiculously buggy and imcomplete piece of software or if I'm just a complete idiot. I've been up for hours trying to figure these things out, and tomorrow I'm thinking of making a video that shows my issues just so people know what I'm talking about.
