Hi, and welcome...you should never post your serial number or other info on this forum...it is a user forum, and not a technical support page. To answer your question: you don't have to disable the serial number...you should simply be able to use it when you install the program on another computer. With the Sony numbers, you get five activations per year, and a de-activation is not necessary. I hope this helps!
