Help. Me.

I have been using Movie Studio Platinum 2024 for almost 6 months now, and I absolutely. DETEST. this program.

I have been working on this project for 3 weeks, close to rendering it, however I can't seem to actually do anything because all it does is crash EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

If I could return this I would, however, its past the sale by point. I much preferred platinum 17 at least it was ACTUALLY user friendly and wasn't a complete waste of money.

Oh and every time I send a crash report, I can't because it says "I'm not connected to the internet..." Please.

@ZDL

Hi

The issue you are having is with a Windows Visual C++ redistributable.

Download and re-install both the x86 and x64 versions of the latest Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 redistributable from here.

Do note if the installer fails you may need to uninstall the previous versions 2015 to 2022, and temporarily disable your Antivirus and re-install.

I would also suggest you carry out a full Windows system check following steps 3 to 11 of this tutorial it also applies to Windows 11.
