Help?

I'm very new to Magix. Upon starting the software, I receive a message saying "the sample rate of 44,100 Hz could not be set. Your sound card is possibly synchronized to an external source." What is this and how do I fix it?

Going back on this, I found how to change the hz but I can't hear any sound when I used a bass and hit play. I'm at 32k

Without more information I would guess that Music Maker is using the ASIO low latency drivers for the sound card drivers, however you sound card is not ASIO compatible - see this comment for a possible solution.
