I think we need rather more information, particularly about the format of the file you are trying to export; not the export configuration (which you have given in your question) but the format of the original file itself.

Is it possible for you to post anywhere a very short section of one of the original files?   I have and use VPX5 quite regularly so would be happy to test the file on my system.

At the moment I have no other suggestion to make!

Hi

These are settings from MEP 2014 which work - they should also work in VPX5:-

Do not change any of the advanced settings otherwise you can end up with a combination which is not acceptable for the MOV container format and give the error message you are getting..

Also make sure you have the latest version of Quicktime installed.

Hi

Apologies - should not try doing two things at once .

For the mp4 export which of these options are you selecting?

Are you changing any of the advanced options?

Hi Federico

I assume you have used the export preset AVCHDTransport stream - 1920x1080p50 PAL(50P Mode) HQ? (Note that this is missing in John Bakers' screenshot)

As john has stated - make sure you have not altered anything in the advanced settings - and that the HRD check box is ticked.
