in other programs there is a directory in the screen of the program that shows all the movies you have uploaded to this project. also if you cut them than it saves it in that directory.

is there such a thing in this program?

if not, how do i work with it efficiently? is there some sample edited video that i can see so i see how you order things?

Hi,

please write which product / version you are using.

Movie Edit Pro? 16? Plus?

If so: If you save the project you will see what you have "virtually used". You can also make a safety copy (menun file) what will save all used media physical. The parts are used non destructive, if you want to have destructive cuts, you have to render it.

Did you check the tutorial and available webvideos (e.g. on Youtube)? Makes sense to take a look at it...

Cheers

Hi,

it is in the menu "file" and shold be named with something like "Saftey copy" (sorry I have a German version)...it is below Backup....

If you do this, all files and project data are physically copied together to a place you chose....

thank you very much!

one more question,

is there a way to open a window to view just one file at a time? because the window that plays back the video only plays back the whole sequence.

i hope i make sense...

thanks again!

Hi there,

if you look next to Help in the program, you will find something called Tasks. You need to check this out, as it

is a very quick way to get using the product. Where you see a film icon next to a task, you will find video tutorials covering this subject.

There is also a pfd manual, which you can't access within the program, but via All Programs, Magix, then your program etc.

Cheers,
