@Gyrgy-Vida You could increase the buffer size in the program settings by a lot. Try it with the maximum value. Do you use an audio interface or just your computers audio chipset?

Just computers audio chipset. I set the buffer high, but it stopped again.

@Gyrgy-Vida How many instruments do you use? It is likely that a audio interface with ASIO drivers will help. Do have the possibility to test such a thing? For example a Focusrite Scarlett, that is what I am using.

Hi and welcome to the forum

In addition to @SP. comment and questions

. . . . PC adequate machine requirements . . . .

What is the actual specification for you PC - see this topic for details of what is required - be specific in the details provided, vague comments do not help.

Ok dear johnebaker! Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G4400 @ 3.30GHz   3.30 GHz - 4GB ram, 64bit. I think it is enough or not? I use now 5 instruments + vita + effect + drums loops. Too much? Little PC?

@Gyrgy-Vida

Hi

Thanks for the specification.

. . . . I use a lot of instruments and it hangs many times during playback . . . .

With the Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G4400 2 core processor, 4GB of RAM and 'lots of instruments' I do not think the PC can keep up with the amount of processing needed.

There could also be other issues -

If you are running on Windows 10 this may also cause issues with the hardware and drivers in the PC.

If you are using Music Maker 2021 v29.0.x.xx and running Windows 7 this may cause issues - Windows 8 it the minimum requirement.

Hi Johnbaker! I understand and want to improve the computer. I am using Win 10 system and with the latest update of Magix premium 2021. Thanks for your help!

@Gyrgy-Vida

As a workaround try to export all instruments your are not working on as a WAV file and load them back in as new audio tracks and mute the MIDI tracks. This should reduce computation load immensely.
