Good day, I have a 6 Core AMD computer with 16gig ram and a GTX 560ti Asus card running Windows 7 Home Pre. When editing HD my programe gets very unstable and then I cant edited anymore. I then have to reload MX Plus and then it works ok for a few minites and then starts stuttering again and then it gets so bad that I have to reload MX again to go on. Please can someone advice on what is wrong. Many Thanks Wayne...

Hi Wayne

If you used the search box on the right you would have found that this question has been asked many times before.

In the programs settings (Y key) on the Video/Audio tab you can change the display settings to a lower resolution to speed things up if you need to.

The stability problem I suspect is the graphics card,

Is it set it to use GPU acceleration for standard fades?

Try running the program with this off to see if you get better stablility.

I had similar problems last year with a high spec ATI card and ended up reverting to a lower spec one.

Also check that no other software is competing for the graphics card.

HTH

John
