Hi

. . . . instead of getting a graphic from my site, I get a dark blue square . . . .

We need more information:

  1. Is the graphic and imported image, if so what file format is it?

If not an imported image please give more detail on how it was created in Web Designer

  2. In Web Designer what properties did you set for the graphic?

  3. Is the graphic in the correct location on the website?

1. I don't know where the image is coming from. It says it's safe_image.png. I didn't create the image, but I can't say it's not coming from Web Designer. This happens when I put my website in a Facebook post.
2. I don't understand the question. I don't know how to set a graphic to link with my website link. That's probably the problem.

3. Again, as far as I can tell, the image is not on my website or in my gallery. I don't know what the correct location is.
I figured out favicon, but I know even know the right words to describe my problem.
I appreciate any advice you have. Thanks,Tom

Hi

Assuming I have read your second post correctly - the issue you are having is not on your website but in Facebook, ie you get the blue square in the Facebook post - is this correct?

If so then this is a Facebook issue - I would suggest you search/post in the Facebook forum.

Yeah, I think you're right. Facebook is doing this, but I don't see doing it to any other websites. I'll check with Facebook, but assuming I solve the Facebook problem, I still don't know how to designate what graphic should go with my URL. Thanks for your help. I'll get back to you after I see if Facebook is the problem. I really appreciate your fast responses. Tom

Hi

Google returns many results telling you how to do this.

I was hoping, sort of like a favicon, there is function in Magix that would do this automatically with the image I choose. It doesn't look like that's possible. Thanks anyway.

For Facebook you have to create/select your own image and upload this - the Google search results bring up guides on how to do this.

Haven't found a guide that works yet, but I'll figure it out eventually. Thanks for your help.
