I am using Audio Cleaning Lab 2014, but cannot locate the Graphic Equalizer under Mastering tab. I have used Audio Cleaning Lab 16 in the past, but there are slight differences. Any suggestions on where to find the equalizer
I don't have the regular ACL2014, but I have the AML2014Premium, which should be close.
Is the image below what you are looking for?
Is so, it should be located as below.
If not, try from the menu, Effects, Frequency/Filter, Equalizer.
If you don't have it after this, ask Magix. If you don't have it at all, ask for a refund or at least complain. See other posts about this. Users are not happy. See my post about AML which has some nice goodies, but major flaws. However, it is far better than ACL and can handle video.

Hi,
the graphic EQ and all the other user defined settings are no more available in the classical Audio Cleaning Lab. For that, you need the Audio & Music Lab Premium from now on.
Thanks for clearing that up. Then what is the usefulness of ACL2014?
I just discovered that in AML2014 Premium, one cannot add in VST's. This is ridiculous and I am raising the issue with Magix. Here is the conflicting info from the Help manual:
“DirectX and VST-compatible plug-ins can be used for effects calculation in MAGIX Audio & Music Lab 2014 Premium. This makes it possible to use third party effects and dithering processors in addition to the effects that are already integrated into MAGIX Audio & Music Lab 2014 Premium.”
Then there is a note:
“Note: Plug-ins are not available in MAGIX Audio Cleaning Lab 2014 but the DeEsser effect is included as a simple effect module.”
I could find no way to add in a plugin.
Incredible! What is wrong with Magix? They messed up VSCL and now have messed up ACL and AML.
Video Pro X6 has major problems and no patch has come out for almost 5 months. What "new" features have the removed from the new Music Maker 2015 and Movie Edit Pro 15?
What are the users saying on the German forum?

Hi John,
the German customers are also concerned about that messed up software.
e.g.:
No more spectral cleaning
No more scrubbing fader
No plug-ins
Sorry, but the best is to return the product for cash-back.
I looked at the Features of ACL2013 and I see that the cleaning tools are there, but there is no way to get to the detailed parameters. You have to use the presets, of which there seems to be many more than before. Magix did the same thing to Video Sound Cleaning Lab 2014 - removed access to the detailed parameters of the tools.
For AML2014 Premium, I found out how to add in external plugins. So the information in the help manual is strange. I will post details under my thread in Forums, ACL.
Thus for anyone who wants to "upgrade," I can only suggest AML2014 Premium. ACL2013 looks like a downgrade.
Just found more problems:
No more Surround mode editing
Cannot go directly from MEP or Video Pro X6 to AML unless the audio is an MP3 or Wav. The video programs do not give the possibility of editing audio externally if the Audio editor in settings is AML. Only VSCL works and mixes down the audio portion to a Wav.
So for anyone who uses Surround Sound, stay with ACL 2013.
