Google Play MMJ vs. Window Store MMJ

fastlane69 wrote on 7/18/2015, 7:26 PM

I bought MMJ through Google play as well as paying and buying several sound files there.
But now I have a MS Surface pro and the download is through the windows store and my sounds are not present.

How do I get my soundfiles from Android to Windows?
Or, if this is a single license, how can I cancel my Android lisence so I can use the sounds I paid for on windows?

Thanks in advance fo the help!

Hi

. . . . I bought MMJ through Google play . . . .

MMJ is free!

. . . . MS Surface pro and the download is through the windows store and my sounds are not present . . . .

When you start MMJ one of the options is to purchase additional music styles  and the app comes with four free music styles of which three of these can be exchanged once a month free.

You should only need to redownload the music styles you have already purchased, for the Windows version - assuming you have registered the Windows version with the same user account as you did the Android version.

How is my Windows account in related to my Google account?
That's the core of my problem, that apperently the windows store has nothing to do with google play and thus isn't recognizing on windows my style purchases through android. :/

Hi

It is not - it is the account that you used to register the software.with.  If you used the same account then you should see in Styles and Projects that you already own the music styles you purchased however they need to be downloaded.

Still not clear on what you mean by "same account" nor what you mean by "register the software" with.

Step by Step, I select MMJ from the Windows Store, it down loads it,
At this point, that's it!  No selection of accounts nor an ability to register the software.

When I bought if from the Google store, there was no "registration" step done there either... when I bought another style, it went through google play purchase, not a magix purchase.

As well, when I download it from the windows store, there is no registration step and when I buy things, it seem to go through the windows store.

So i'm not sure exctly how you are suggesting I resolve this, John. :/

BUMP

This issue is not resolved.
Could I please get some Magix representative on here to comment and help me out?
