Getting a new computer soon but dont wanna miss the Acid 10 Deal.

Here shortly I will be bringing this 10 year old laptop to its final resting place.

I was wondering if I purchase the Acid 10 deal (50% off right now) could I not activate it until I get my new computer. Or if I buy it now, do I have to use it now. I'm still using acid pro 7 and putting acid 10 on this computer would be an injustice.
