I had bought Magix Music Maker software at Best Buy years ago and I was so excited to see it was sold online that I bought it immediately without checking to see if it was compatible with my computer system. Turns out it’s not. Can u please help me figure out how to get a refund? Thank u so much.

I bought the version online at http://www.magix.com. I was so excited! I have a Mac OS X and Magix Music Maker does not work with Mac at this time. I was thinking about getting a pc (Windows laptop from Walmart bc it’s cheap). I was also thinking about getting Magix Music Maker online at Walmart.com bc it’s cheaper. I’m not sure of my thinking to be the best choice. I was thinking buy a laptop from Walmart.com and buy software from Walmart.com. Is that a good idea in ur opinion?

@Yolanda-Villeza You can write a mail to shop@magix.net or infoservice@magix.net to get a refund. But you can also try first if Music Maker runs with Wine on your system. Maybe it will work but I'm not sure. If it doesn't work then just return it.
A cheap laptop can have problems running Music Maker. It needs a modern 2 GHz CPU at minimum and some good sound hardware. Most really cheap laptops don't have a processor powerful enough and are made for office apps or web browsing and are not made for music making..
