Will MAGIX be continuing development of Sound Forge Pro Mac? It has purchased the software, but there is no sign of it on the MAGIX web site. It really needs work!
The answer appears to be no. It's a shame to buy good software and not support it.

If you visit the Vegas Pro video editing forum, there is ongoing and current dialog.
I doubt that enough copies of SFM were ever sold to make it worth Magix allocating resources to it.
So far as I can tell, I still can't even sign in with my SCS login. I spent a bloomin' fortune on Sound Forge Pro Mac & Win, and SpectraLayers Pro. What with version upgrades - a lot of dosh. Sadly, it appears that both Magix and Sony have let us down badly. The information promised by the links at the "Welcome Sony people" page does not appear to exist.
Sorry TLMuse. That was totally unhelpful to you. I just needed to let off a bit of steam after wasting more time trying to find anything useful (regarding my products) on this site.
