I have the Magix Music Maker 2021 Premium edition. And i am trying to install the Frontier Plugin. that's free right now. But i can't there are a licence Issue. Do Any of you have a solution on This problem ?
Frontier is available only for registered D16software users, who have purchased any product in the past or will do it in the future. It is available free of charge."
Hi and Thx for all the replies, i do have a D16 User accont and i have the plugin install sort of. Magix says i need a licens key to use. i have made some screenshots. you can see i have acount in magix and D16. ?
I know that the D16 website seems to say that another D16 product needs to be installed but..
I downloaded the Frontier installer, ran it, created a D16 account, Frontier activated and I can use it in MM, Adobe Audition and (though not yet tested) presumably with Reaper also.
I honestly have no idea why the install fails for you, especially since you already have a D16 product, but is successful for me! I think this is a question you may have to raise with D16.
@John-Madsen, I have the same problem, with the same edition of the music maker premium edition 2021, I think it would have to be 32 bits, just like the other plugins, see the print
@John-Madsen, while we waited for the support to be updated, I managed to solve it as follows, I accessed the website D16 Group Audio Software and downloaded the 32-bit version, made the registration and created a user and password. When clicking on the + command in the magix music maker, Frontier 32 bits appeared and clicking on it will ask for your login and password,
Since MM 2021, version 29.x, is 64 bit I cannot see how installing the 32 bit version of Frontier is really going to help, sorry! I know that the Premium variant of MM 2021 includes the VSTBridge (to allow 32 bit VSTs etc., to run in the 64 bit program), but ...
As I posted above I have the 64 bit version installed and running without issue!
i couldn t load the VST frontier in Magix Music maker ( premiem 2021 ) . It was absent in the menu of VSTs FX
As the VST asks a registration from the host program ( so Magix Maker in our case ) , there was no possibilities to register the VST
I had tried with the default version used in the magix Store , and it has failed ( as already described )
I have tried to download the 64 bit version of VST Frontier , and it has failed too ( as already described )
Nevertheless , i have downloaded the 32 bit version of VST Frontier, and , this time , the BST was present in my menu of VSTs FX
So i have been able to finish the registration
But now , i have an another issue when the VST Frontier runs .. How it accepts midi commands ? When i activate the track to use my Novation mini launckey MK IIII ( with the knobs ), the sound is broken
