@Pernas

I'm sure you are aware this is a user to user forum, not a contact for Magix support.

That being the case I strongly suggest you open a support ticket, via the Contact button in the footer of any forum page, especially since it appears that the problem you are seeing is reproducible quite easily.

I've also seen your other post about the absence of .BAK files since the latest update to MM. I will try and check this later today on my system.

@Pernas

Hi

Are there other video files in formats which are not supported by Music Maker in the same folder?

Supported video formats are AVI, Windows Media (*.wmv, *.asf), MAGIX Video (*.mxv) and Quicktime Movie
(*.mov)

Yes, actually there were some *.MP4-files left in the same folder which MMM wasn't able to show, I've now removed them to see if they could be the reason for these occasional crashes.

Thanks,
Per

Filed more crashes as support tickets to Magix for this issue. The contact button also moved away to a not that easy place to find anymore, I can see where this is heading...:(

The file browser is not that robust if crashing when encountering unknown file formats, and since more work needs to take place there when basic preview functions in the templates browser are gone, MMM feels a bit unfinished and regressed atm...

Formerly a quite satisfied customer becoming more frustrated for each day when nothing happens with the stability of the program...

Thank you for the heads-up about this, a change which I, for one, was not aware of! @johnebaker, @Scenestealer, were you aware of this change?

It seems the "access point" is now via the "Additional offers" button, unless I'm missing something? Not intuitive at all.

@Pernas, @emmrecs, @Scenestealer

Hi all

Definitely not intuitive and the German wording is identical, so there is no translation issue.

Once you get into the linked to page, having to scroll down a long way before you see the Support link, then another click to get to the Support page is annoying.

No one complaining yet in the German forum!

Hi @emmrecs, @johnebaker

No I was not aware. Looks downright obstructive to me.

Hi Peter.

Yes, I agree. "Obstructive" is a very suitable term.

I wonder why this extremely regrettable change was made?
