Briefly -- I can use VirtualDub to frame serve to MEP 17 and MEP MX but not MEP 2013 -- using the identical source material. See: http://www.magix.info/us/frameserving-to-mep-2013.knowledge.932334.html. John suggested checking permission (as that the gist of the error message) but no luck so far.

Can any please try for themselves before I launch into bug reporting. I'm only interested in the video so I'm not worried about splitting out audio streams efc.
