Fixed the earlier crashes...now have this issue.

Return, thank you all who helped me before. @SP. @johnebaker @CRH

Magix has not crashed in a little over a week. I reset my pc 3 times. Got 48Gb more of ram to a total of 112(will get final 32ram soon). And I got a bigger and stronger SSD to hold everything. Now the issue I am having is this. I have gotten ableton live lite , and used demo of Flstudio and both aren't doing this.

another angle of the issue

@AJenn Looks like you send MIDI signals in a loop from playback output to recording input. What did you select as MIDI out in the program settings? Either disable the MIDI looping in your MIDI Device settings or try selecting another output, for example the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth.

@AJenn Thank you very much for the detailed screenshots. This looks all fine to me.

Does this problem only occur if you record while playing back other tracks with Opus? Or does it also happen if only have other VST instruments playing?

If this doesn't happen with other VST instruments, then it might be a problem caused either by Opus (maybe there is a setting?) or it's a compatibility problem between Opus and Music Maker.

If this problem also occurs with other VST instruments it might be some bug in Music Maker or Windows MIDI handling...(Windows 11 introduced new MIDI features in February in case you are on the newest version) then it can maybe help to disable some MIDI devices in the Windows device manager. This is an option we can try, after you checked for Opus.

Happens with Opus OR if I use Magix Choirs and childrens chior or magix's solo artist collection VST's. Which is insane as I made a few songs with chiors in it..so shouldn't make sense that now I can't use them or Opus

@AJenn I don't use Opus and have no idea if it helps if you buy something.

This answer doesn't make much sense to me. Can you please clearly state that muting or removing Opus from your project gets rid of the recording problem?

It does, but now magix chior VST's and solo collection VST's do the same thing even if opus is not in VSt folder even. Choirs are my Jam..so it doesn't make sense why they aren't working? I reinstalled them too
