First import keeps appearing in new transfers

I am getting this problem intermittently (approx 50% of time). After capturing a new VHS tape, I then go to edit the video ready for export to DVD and find that sections of the first tape I transferred appear in the play window. I have re-installed (and again updated to latest version of app). Have also used the Ceaning Wizard. Running Windows 10 with latest O/S updates. Is there a FAQ to address this if a known problem

Hi

. . . . After capturing a new VHS tape, I then go to edit the video ready for export to DVD and find that sections of the first tape I transferred appear in the play window. . . .

That would suggest the same project is being used for further captures after the first tape.

Try starting a new project each time you want to capture a video tape.

Hi John,

I always start a new project for a new tape.

@Gordon-Stone

I always start a new project for a new tape.

But, just to add to what @johnebaker wrote, do you choose to save the files for each new project in a separate/new folder?

Creating a new folder for each project ensures that RYVT looks ONLY in the designated folder for the needed files.

I found solution by deleting proxy-files (WIN10) C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Common\proxy
