It would be good if there was a pinned post. I think one thread where people could make suggestions would be really useful for the developers. Saying that it seems there isn't much interaction between Magix staff and users though, which was also the case with Sony. I don't think there is a Community Manager anymore?

Matt, you are right and that is a good suggestion. I hate to be a downer but I have this terrible feeling that Magix is going down the same path as Sony did with AcidPro. I mean 3 versions have come out since AP8 and the issues are exactly the same, only more got piled on. I was looking for some kind of post where I could make feature requests and make Magix aware of the problems we are all going through. Earlier today, I compiled a song in a hurry that took about a half hour (didn't save it, that was my fault-overtrusted the DAW) and just as I went to render it, the whole thing crashed, never to be opened again. I nearly pulled every hair out of my head!

AmanSingh: I've had that same thing happen a number of time ! For no reason (known to us) AP10 will just shut down. I recall one time I was just looking at the screen, just looking mind you, no mouse in my hand, program wasn't playing back, recording or rendering, and it just shut down. I have that happen as I said a number of times. Also had it happen in the middle of recording.... This would be such a great program if it were STABLE. Cheers

Yes, Max, my issue is that after I turned off Win Defender, avoid using anything "new" added by Magix to the AcidPro, it works fine, I figured out why the Render killed it for me, I made the mistake of using eFx Compressor as Sidechain, I should have known better not to use any Magix's added effects. But bottom line, at least for me and reading a few other people's frustration, the ONLY thing Magix did which "worked" was moving from 32bit to 64bit when they bought AcidPro from Sony. Everything else that got added on is glitchy and clunky.
AcidPro is a great DAW, the thing is, I have changed everything to Acid now and it is the center DAW of my studio, it will be way too much work to go back to Ableton or Cubase completely. I have been on Ableton since 2007 (when I gave up on Acid due to Sony's not caring) but ableton never gave me that edge Acid did.
I just hope that there will be at least one person at Magix who has used this DAW in the past and truly knows its potential. Adding a dark GUI, unnecessary features as such as morph pads, clunky effects and synths, Fix version 7 for its problems first! It will be mostly veteran users that know the DAW way too well and can wait for bells and whistles until later. They just need a stable version. Anyway, I could go on and on. I just extremely frustrated and want to use this DAW without the crashes, freezes. In my case, Melodyne never worked! MP3 support is no where to be found. I own Vegas 17 as well which I un-installed as I couldn't make a single video due to crashes. The entire SonyCreative line is buggy. Come on Magix! Take my money, but fix the product for once!
