Failure of install of Samplitude

Hello, I have a Samsung laptop with Windows 11, all updates installed. Can't figure out why, Samplitude Music Studio 2023 won't install. I get an error, something about "the code execution cannot proceed because mfc140u.dll was not found. I have previously successfully installed and run Samplitude. I also use Cakewalk at times and even that program won't install; some dll error. My laptop has the Spectrum security suite installed. Would appreciate any help! Thanks much!

@Raja-B Try installing the Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 and newer from here:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-Us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2015-2017-2019-and-2022

Yes, thank you ever so much, I just did that a few minutes ago and all is well now! I suspect that when Windows updated to 11, something got screwed up! Now Cakewalk runs too!

I was supposed to get a trial version Samplitude X8. Keep asking for serial number. I had downloaded Magix product prior to this. but it was done on line. NO SERIAL # Guess I won't be trying it out. Sucks!!!!!!
