New install of Movie Studio 2023. v.22.0.3-152 (UDP3). On Windows 10. Selecting "Help" in the help menu produces the error "Failed to launch help" which is not as helpful as I hoped it would be!
The MS 2023 Help files should launch in your default web browser; clearly, for you they do not! So, do you have a default browser set up?
They are actually located, assuming you chose the default locations for the program installation, at C:\Program Files\MAGIX\Movie Studio 2023 your edition name\Help\EN. If you navigate there and click on "Default.htm", do you then open the Help screen?
Jeff. Thanks for the prompt reply! I was ale to open the help screen by the method you proposed, but then I was also able to do this from within the program. Go figure! If it happens again I'll try and identify the conditions that generate the help error.
If you wish to change the web browser the program opens with, (mine used to open with MS Edge) you can also change it to whatever browser you prefer by opening from the same location you pointed to but use 'Open with' and select your preferred web browser. The program does indeed seem to remember.
