Fade in/out issue

Can someone explain why objects properties change from one project to the next I'll explain one proj. I was able to set the entry point of of the object to fade in nice and mellow by clicking on the object and managing the bar for the fade and the next I could not even get the object to do anything but to higlight and be moved around or delete I right clicked on it and found other properties but nothing for what I want and need fade in or out or adjusting the volume coming in or going out cansomeone help me while I go back to the pdf again thanks

I have found this same thing what I do to edit fade/vol is enlarge the object/objects.

Thank you Mancone and once you enlarge them then what do you do

You edit the bar, in the object, may need to enlarge a couple of times.

See this. You do not always have to be logged in to get everything.

Could you please stop using "General Question" as your topic of threads? I was assuming that this was about the same topic as your other "General Question(s)" and I wasn't going to bother opening it. This one is about having to be logged in to the Store.
