Eye Blinking AGAIN

nirvanray wrote on 8/12/2013, 5:06 AM

Hello friends,
My question is in relation to the following thread which I named Eye-Blinking.
http://www.magix.info/us/eye-blinking.knowledge.1007120.html

Some of my friends tried to help me out. I tried but somehow I could not be successful. Though I did as I was instructed by our friend John, I am not successful.
Can someone be kind enough to guide me accordingly please?
Regards.

Dear John,
I tried to follow your instructions very carefully. I even used the Video Effects that you made for me but I have the following questions:
Why is the video coming black and while?
Why is the blinking not continuous?
As asked by you here are the files in DropBox.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Regards.

Hi Anirban

Do you want the video image to also blink as in the video?

The following will get the video/blinking eye working properly:-

   -   The objects track order on the timeline needs rearranging as shown below.

   -   Remove the effects from the video clip.

   -   The only object which should have the Blinking effect applied to it is the Eye image and you need to change the image duration to match the video.

You can also add more keyframes if necessary using the copy keyframe and paste keyrame buttons in the editor as shown below

Hi Res version of image is here

Best wishes

John

I posted this earlier to the question about your laptop, I must be getting old.

Hey Anirban,

Here are two ways to do the eye blink effect.

Dear John and George, thanks again for the kind help.

Good day. The video worked.

(PS: MAGIX must recognise the fast and effective methods for some forusm users like you two)

@George the answer is funny..."I must be getting old." Its a mistake and happens.

Take care, friend
