Exporting Video Error

Hello. Bought Magix Studio 2023 Platnium to make a video with music of our family holiday. After spending HOURS putting it together, now I get errors trying to export it. I have tried different formats and the error box comes up with no error code. I changed the Device Option Hardware acceleration to CPU as some else suggested but still another error message . I'm pissed I have spent so much time and money on a program that doesn't work. Any suggestions of something else I can try? My video is 30 mins long. Is it too long?? Do I need to compress it somehow? Thank you for any help you can give me.

@michele-h Hi, it's now 6hrs later, did you work this out?

The error box comes up with no error code but what does it say? you can post pictures using the arrow button next to the smiley at the top of a new comment.

No 30mins isn't too long & no you don't need to compress it.

Sometimes when a project won't export it's because of a single object on the timeline, try exporting your project in sections to see if you can narrow down that dodgy file.

You say you've tried different formats, I assume you mean different export formats?

Because you've been working with the media on the timeline & have created this project it should be the type of media you're using, but just to know what you're using there's an App called MediaInfo, download it, it's free & a fast download with no added adverts or any of that rubbish. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo

After downloading, right click on the media file in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the options at the top, Copy & paste the information in a new comment on here 👍

@michele-h

Hi,

Further to what Gid said, please show a screen shot of your project settings (shortcut E).

You say that you tried various export settings, presumably under File, Export Movie, Export to MP4. Correct?

Did you check Display all and select one from the list?

If so, which one (screen shot please).

Also, give us info on your hardware, including any graphics card.. You can get most of this from Windows Settings, System, About. See my and Gid's signatures for an idea as to what information is needed.

BTW, CPU may not be the best setting Device Option Hardware acceleration - for export.
