Exported SVG pt differs from px in Xara

I have the page setting in my document set to 48x48px but if I look at the SVG in notepad after exporting it, it states 36 pt in height and width. This seems to be causing problems in some programs, since the exported SVG don't read out correct.
Why isn't the setting in Xara sticking/reading into to the exported SVG?

Hi

Points and pixels when specifying print resolutions is an issue as you are experiencing.:

1 px is usually taken as  being 1/96th of an inch, ie a resolution of 96 pixels/inch

1 point (pt) is usually taken as  being 1/72nd of an inch, ie 72 points/per inch

Assuming the reading program is using the above resolutions then 48px = 36pt = 1/2 inch

The 'misreading' comes about when the program giving the 'wrong font size' is using a different pixel/inch or points/inch setting.
