Peter, John: away from PC and magix.info doesn't let me use Answer from m iPad. Yes, I have been using both "GPU Render" and "Calculate Video effects on GPU". More later. Terry, UK

Hi Terry

iPads and Java do not mix - or put it another way Java is not available for the iPad and the forum uses Java for the button functions.

I think iPad users are losing out on a lot of things that do not work because they are Java or Flash based - Flash can be 'emulated' using a third party add on..

Hi John,

Re Java, this MAGIX site is the only one of many forums I use that doesn't support basic operations like answering a post on my iPad. A few others (BBC iPlayer is the only one I can think of) prevent my seeing Flash based videos, but in the great majority of forums I've never had any issues. Yet I'm sure many must use Java?

That add-on sounds interesting - do you know its name? Searching the iStore with 'flash emulator' didn't get any hits. I did find a few browsers that claimed Flash video-playing abilities but none with good reviews.
