Export glitches

I've been using various versions of Audio Cleaning Lab going back about 10 years in all. In the latest version I have been experiencing sound glitches in exported files (AAC format) and also the software seems to overwork my PC in that I often get loud fan noise. I'm following up on my hardware elsewhere (W10 64bit high-end HP all-in-one machine about 15 months old) but wondered if anybody else has had similar experience and whether you have changed anything on the software as a result?

@Paul-Fleming

Welcome to the Magix forums.

You chose Sound Forge as your product but are clearly using, and asking for help with, Audio Cleaning Lab. Hence your post has been "moved".

I have the latest Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab but have never needed the facility to export to anything other than .wav files so honestly cannot help directly with your problem.

If I have the time later I may test export an audio file to .aac and see what happens on my machine.

UPDATE:  I opened a 7 minute 48kHz 16 bit .wav file in SFACL2, selected to export it in .aac format (default settings), completed in about 20 seconds, with no obvious change in fan noise or CPU cycles.
