I'm not able to expand the recording measures I need to complete a song from my Roland E-09. It starts out with 16 shown and when I zoom out, or click and drag and move the yellow bar to expand the measures the actual recording does not go the entire desired length of the yellow bar measures. I'm using a Majix Music Maker 17. Thanks.
Out of curiousity, have you tried to start recording from the 17th bar and see if you can record your entire project ?
Thanks for your reply gnarly. I've figured it out. It's so simple I'm embarrased. I was able to zoom out the end marker and just continue to record anyway. The visua trackl stops at 16 measures, but the recording continues on to the end marker.When I'm finished with the recording the entire "visual" track appears. Strange why the entire track doesn't show the entire recording the first time around. That's what had me believe that the recording ended at 16 measures. Onward!
If I'm not mistaken, this only seems to occur in MIDI mode, and actually I feel it shoud continue to show your active recording. Magix and the community forum has neveer sucessfully explained why this is, nor have they (magix) fixed it. You are not the first one this has happened to. I hope in newer versions this has ben fixed. I'll soon find out as I have MM2014.
