Bought Movie Studio 2022
Have attempted to "download" the Add on Mercalli V5 Suite. Can't seem to make it work. How do I get the download and any "passwords/ID numbers" I need to use V5 Suite. (Exact steps please) Thanks
@Steve-Dock I believe that you would need to purchase it from the Store tab from within MS 2022.

If you have just purchased Movie Studio 2022 did you buy the Premium perpetual license or Premium annual subscription version as it is only available in those two versions of the program.
If you didn't buy the correct version, contact sales@magix.net with your sales receipt and explain you accidentally bought the wrong version and would there be a way to correct that. They should then tell you to de-register and uninstall the program. Once done you should receive a refund from Magix which you can use towards buying the correct version.
Be nice in your request. They are normally quite good about these things.
If you did buy the correct version then details should be in one of two emails sent to you to confirm your purchase.
If you have not received two emails check your spam folder.

As far as I remember ProDad Mercalli V5 Suite was last offered in Jun last year along with ProDad Hide. I don't keep tabs on the monthly offers, just the ones I have, but it has not been offered that recently as far as I know. Third party plugins are ways Magix gets people to pay earlier for their upgrades if the offering is tempting enough for them.
It also allows for ridiculous adverting claims such as the current one about the normal cost of the software such as the current offering with NB Total effects as without that package they could not say "£55.99 Regularly £1,198.99"
It also hides any recent actual increases in the cost of the Magix Program that otherwise may have been objectionable to customers if it were to be sold without the package. It prevents complaints about sudden large increases in prices of a product. I have to give their marketing division full marks that one.
Thankfully Magix are like DFS (formerly Direct Furnishing Supplies) in Britain. Almost constantly on sale.😉
