Are you absolutely sure you used the registered email address? Your Magix forums email could be different. Are your products listed in the Magix Service Center's "My Products"

Thanks for the rapid reply. I had to reinstall a couple of things as I ve replaced the hard drive and mainboard and i m using a different windows version. When the box came up for the serial number, my email came up automatically - it is/was the right email - but the next screen was something like 'this is a different email address do you want to use it' - both serial numbers and email address had green ticks - then the error 24 message came up on the next screen. The solution was to delete the email address and retype it - then everything's gone smoothly - so all's good. Thankyou again John
