John- the last change i did was going from symantic to mcafee virus .... no new fonts inputted. i installed my older versions 14/15/16/17 and all work ok... ran the pro version from the trial and that worked ok.... do not know why 18 is now giving me issues...

Hi

I suspect it may be McAfee that is causing the problem.

I would suggest you uninstall MEP,  use the Magix Cleaner tool available here to remove any remaining remnants.  Reboot the computer and hen install MEP again

Hopefully this will fix the problem.

john- i really apprciate the feedback- did what you suggested and what the tech support offered... even rolled back my windows 7 to what date before i did any changes... nada--  still stump why my previous versions work ok... and even did a temp trial of the pro edit.... not mad at the program but might start trying final cut pro on my mac ...appreciate the input!
