Error message when saving project

Robert-Ehrbar wrote on 4/25/2022, 9:07 AM

I cannot save projects in Acid 10 Pro. It says the your Temp folder is full and remove Items to make room. However, I have done disk clean-up on the C-drive as shown, and have over 2.4 TB available on that drive, and 3 other internal drives with lots of space left on them. It won't let me save anything on any of my drives.  I should have mentioned that I'm trying to save my projects as a acd.zip embeded file.

@Robert-Ehrbar Can you save under C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents ?

Thanks SP. Yes, I've tried saving to documents, desktop, and 4 different internal drives. I haven't been able to save it anywhere. I should have mentioned that I'm trying to save my projects as a acd.zip embeded file. In the past if I saved it first as standard acid file, it would then let me save it as a acd.zip file. Now it won't let me. I usually use zip's as sometimes I like to use my laptop if I am away.

@Robert-Ehrbar

Hi

Check where the Temporary folder is in the program settings, and that your Antivirus program Realtime/Ransomware/Protected folder option is not blocking access to it and the other drives,

Disk cleanup should have no effect on this folder, there should also be an option to clear this folder in the program.

Thanks to all of you for your help. Finally got it working. Although my firewall was not blocking anything in Acid, it was a problem with the Temp Folder within acid. Even though I had 2.63TB available on my C: drive, it would not let me save anything, even though I changed folders. What worked was when I changed the Temp Folder on the C: drive to an entirely separate drive in my PC. Thanks again!
