Xara Designer Pro X. Error code: -6. Won't load. I no longer have access to my old account information, but i have been a Xara customer since it's first iteration. Need to reinstall.

Do you mean you have forgotten the login details, or cannot access your account at magix.com to get your serial number and program download?
Was the program working before?
If so what changed on the computer between working and not working - eg Windows upgrade or update, change of AntiVirus etc.
Which Antivirus are you using?
Before re-installing, un-install the damaged installation using Revo Uninstaller, after the program has been uninstalled, Revo will ask you to scan for and delete remnants left behind, do this otherwise you will not get a clean install and most likely be in the same situation as now.
I established my old account using a email that no longer exists, (expired domain) I would like to upgrade to the latest version of design pro, but I do not know how to access my account, since i no longer have access that email, and I do not know the login parameters for that account. Is their a way to trace my account back to me through customer support to re-establish my account with new profile?
