Error code -21

I successfully installed my software, but I get have error code when trying to activate "Error code -21".
I have internet conection, my software it is SOUND FORGE Audio Studio instaled on Windows 10 compilation 19041

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Are you sure the error code is 21? I can find no reference to that number in the list of error codes. Please post a screenshot of the whole of the error message or at least the full wording of it.

Hello, welcome

This may be a windows 10 error rather than a Sound Forge error.

When you uninstall a driver, update windows or install other third-party software, it may damage some DLL file. This DLL file may be related to particular driver hence you are getting error code 21.

Check device manager for any possible errors.

This would suggest the message is Cannot connect to Internet for registration or email address software registered with does not match current email address - the error code number should be -1 in this case.

Which version of Sound Forge Audio Studio have you installed? If it is an old version and/or you have re-installed it, are you using the same email address as the software was first registered with?

OR

If the error code number is -21 this usually means there is an error with the serial number.

Did you copy and paste the whole serial number including the prefix P3- from the purchase confirmation email in to the registration/activation dialog?

Your Sound Forge serial code and the email address are paired, You must use the email address that was used when you originally registered and activated your product. It may be different than the email address you use to log-in to this forum.

Hi

If internet connection was interrupted, try and temporarily disable your anti virus and firewall and try again.

Make sure windows defender is disabled.

If all else fails @Przemyslaw-Banaszak, we can send you a link to download the unpacked installer from a cloud site (WeTransfer or other) which are usually not blocked by anti-virus and firewalls.
