Hi all. I get Error 2147163964 when trying to install Sound Forge and Noise Reduction Package. And the installer gives up.
I am running a MacBook Pro 16 M1 Max iOS 12.6. and Parallels 18.02.
I think this has something to do with Microsoft .NET Framework. .NET is active on my system, Yes ;) have checked. Have the archives 2013 x86, 2015 x64, 2017x64, 2017 x86 and 2022 Arm64 installed.
Can somebody point me in right direction ?

@Truls-Birkeland I think that is the Wavehammer-Plugin. Since it is very old it is possible it needs even older C++ redistributales than your 2013 and 2015-2022 versions. I would suggest you also try to install the older redistributables (don't know if this will work with your M1 processor). If you don't need the plugin you can also try to change the file extension from DLL to something different so it won't get registered. But I don't know if this is possible during the installation.

Does the Parallels app have full disk access under macOS security settings?
If not this may be the cause of the error, additionally Parallels Tools may need re-installing and the virtual machine restarted.

It stops and report faults, both for Sound Forge and the wave hammer (witch is the one I want :)! )

With the error code you are getting I suspect that this may be an issue between Parallels, Windows and the audio device (drivers?) in the MAC or external USB audio device if you have one.
I would suggest you also take this up with Parallels support.
