"Error 1603" when installing demo version of Movie Edit Pro Plus (2017)...

MantaRay wrote on 9/11/2016, 5:21 PM

I downloaded the demo this evening but my installation was only
partially successful. I received the following error message:

"Magix speed burnR - Error 1603".

I am using a Windows 10/i7-based PC running at 2.6 GHz with 8 GB
RAM and 1 TB SSD.

Can someone help a new starter by suggesting a resolution?

Many thanks.

Perhaps this Microsoft page might help?  https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/834484

From a quick read of that page it seems to be associated with file permissions, encrypted folder or even that the app is already installed.  I suggest a careful read and then work through the suggested methods of correcting the error.
