@kozo-kakehi You can try to run the software as administrator (right click on the program icon) or to disable your firewall or Windows Defender temporarily. Does this help?

Isn't error 14 when you use the wrong serial number for a program either due to typos or because it's the serial for a different product?

Thank you every body, I understand the cause.

I got the Japanese version of ACID and was able to register with my serial number, at the time of the first installation. However, it seems that it will change to the English version after performing a subsequent update. It seems that the correct serial in the Japanese version was determined to be incorrect in the English version.
