Hi,

Yes and no. First watch this tutorial on getting started in MMM.

You cannot just enter a letter, you have to press on the keys on the on-screen Keyboard (Keyboard tab). First, you have to select an instrument, like Vita Acoustic guitar chords, be in MIDI record mode, turn off the easy keyboard to have the normal piano keyboard, select the arpeggio button and the chords symbol (three dots one above the other), select Maj, then press C on the keyboard and you will get a C chord. Start recording and play your one finger chords. For minor, you will have to change to minor. For 7th's you will have change to normal mode and play the chord on the piano, etc. Double-click on the midi object that you created and modify the chords, timing etc. on the MIDI piano roll. You also first have to set a tempo, turn on the metronome and play to the tempo. You can make adjustments in the MIDI screen.

So, the program does not do everything for you.
