Encoding different than preview HELP?

Hi all!

I am using Magix Movie Edit Pro 2013 version 12.0.3.4 I am trying to do this effect:

Where my "B" Image is super imposed onto my "A" Image. I had to use the position mode to move the face over to the left as the outline shows.

After Doing an Mpg encode, I get this:

This does not happen in the preview. I've tried using the chroma key and removing the black but it does not help. Other problems are coming up like the previous frames are freezing and showing up much later in the video.

Here is another one showing you the image on bottom should have been long gone but pops up in this frame.

The strange thing is I tried encoding to a quicktime file and did not have as many problems. What am I doing wrong?

I have a new PC windows 7 with the latest graphics card Nvidia 660T.

Any help would be great! Questions or advice?  Thanks!

Hi,

I'm not really clear what final result you're trying to achieve. Are you looking for something like one of the following?

#1

#2

#3

#4

If none of the above, then I'd suggest you edit your face image so that its background is green not black, so that you have greater flexibility in the use of chroma keying.

All of the above...contrast isnt the problem, it works and looks great in the preview but after encoding...I get the full face...in otherwords, it's not blending in with the main image. as you have done with the building.

Here's what the project looks like to achieve the effect I illustrated (which was maintained in my rendered MP4):

If you still can't fix it, use File > Backup > Copy project and media into folder, zip and upload it so that we can take a closer look. Or spell out the exact steps you're taking from a fresh start, with screenshots showing all settings.

BTW, although MEP is tolerant, it's standard practice to place your main background in track 1.

Thank you Terry,

I was able to get a hold of Tech support. I'm sending them the project file to figure out. It could be the way I've arranged my objects. Either way, If they dont have an answer I will post the file here and see if you can determine my faults  :-)
