Enabling the Cycle option in MIDI Editor

According to the 2022 user manual on pg. 84 under MIDI recording options,

Cycle plays the MIDI object in a loop during recording. This enables you to let the object play through a few times before you get started recording your own melody.

Yet when I select a track in Arranger, enable the Cycle option and click on the REC button in MIDI editor, the playback marker doesn't loop back when it reaches the end of the play range; it just keeps going.

I tried to upload a screen recording showing this, but for some reason the upload wouldn't complete (Is there a file size limitation on uploads? The file size is 24mb).

I then tried to attach a screenshot showing the progress playback marker having moved way past the end of the playback range, but that too generated an 'upload error' message.

I'm hoping it's just a case of me not understanding how to use the Cycle option correctly.

@dmstar1956 A screenshot should only have a very limited size or are you trying to upload a giant photo made by your smartphone? Windows has a built-in Snipping Tool to create screenshots easily.

Cycle loops inside the yellow bar at the top of the arranger. You need to change the start and end of the bar.

Screenshot is only 80 kb. Scratching my head.

@dmstar1956 The forum servers currently have problems. Sometimes I get an error message that the page wasn't found.

And I use the snipping tool. I'll try it again.

@dmstar1956 Looks like uploading currently doesn't work. I cannot upload a screenshot.

But like I wrote, if you change the beginning and the end of the yellow loop bar at the top of the arranger to the beginning and the end of your MIDI object, the looping should work fine.

Uploading works now. Here is a screenshot. Look at the yellow bar at the top.
