Eliminate the scrolling "black" after creating a Pan composite

When I use Magix to create a pan and have it pan or scroll from left to right, there's this "black filler" at the end before the next photos fades into view. I've tried cutting where the black starts. I've tried dragging the subsequent photo(s) over to fade in earlier. None of my efforts appear to eliminate that black portion as the pan finishes out.

In the attached clip (screen capture of the editing window) the portion I'm trying to eliminate is at about 7 seconds.

Is there some editing technique that I can try?

Hi.

The frame centre of video with no picture is black as there is no light information, so when an image becomes smaller than the frame, or doesn't cover a portion of it, the background becomes black.

If you want the next image to fill the frame behind it as it slides away, you need to place it on a higher track earlier.

I think it's something like that you want or am I wrong?

Hi,

Or reset the last keyframe so that the panned image stops going left before the end. To set the last keyframe correctly, simply set the playback marker at the location on the timeline that you want that pan to stop at, either at or before the end, and click on the middle right-hand button under Position (the 9 buttons at the right of Horizontal/Vertical). The right end of the image will be at the right side of the window.

In addition to @CubeAce and @browj2 comments it also looks like the panned image is reducing height in the last few seconds.

Which effect did you apply or have you manually used Size, Position and Rotation setting keyframes for the pan?
