Hi

What type of background noise - eg mains hum, traffic, people shuffling about, coughing etc?

Where are you recording - eg indoors, outdoors, small room, etc?

What type of microphone are you using eg omni directional, cardiod etc. Is it handheld, tie-clip or miniature head/ ear mounted?

What are you recording with - eg laptop, computer, or other recording device?
