Hi friends! I hope you are all healthy and safe! I cannot seem to get side chaining to work. I add efx compressor to a track and right click on it, but the menu does appear... and I doing anything wrong? ACID pro 10.

I don't use eFx effects but when you open the compressor lets say in the Bass track, move the slider to "Ext", then right click on the compressor on the top and choose the track you want the compressor to trigger to. Set the compressor parameters properly as the Threshold will come pushed all the way to max (Magix made this default for some reason).

Hey james, sorry I tried but if you are not getting a menu on right-click, please know that this DAW is still full of bugs which I am not sure if they are being worked on as of now. But many users out there are having different types of problems with the program and so do I. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be sure why you are not getting a menu after right clicking. If I were you, I would do a clean un-install and re-install to see if that does it. 1% of me is saying maybe it has something to do with your graphics card but thats a far out guess.

Hey James, I am glad it worked but what were you doing wrong? Was it the graphics card?

I was adding the compressor to the "Event FX" as opposed to "Track FX"
